About the position

As a Product Yield Analysis and Analytics Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the software ecosystem for defect analysis and developing innovative tools to improve yield and quality across Micron products. This position involves collaboration with various engineering teams to identify defects impacting yield and quality, leveraging your expertise in data analytics, software development, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with customers of the defect data and tools to determine new methods and tools that enable their success.
• Designing new methods to detect failures during the semiconductor manufacturing process.
• Optimizing and leveraging these methods by building tools for use by multiple engineering teams.
• Identifying opportunities to use existing defect data for yield and reliability improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, yield enhancement engineering, defect analysis, or a similar engineering field.
• BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Software Development, or equivalent degrees.
• Specialization in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Engineering Semiconductors, Defect Analysis, Software Development, Machine learning and data science analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to present sophisticated technical ideas and concepts.
