About the position
The Production Accounting Systems Consultant will lead the implementation of Production Accounting Systems for clients in the oil and gas industry. This role involves gathering requirements, providing solutions, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution and application maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Production Accounting Systems including discovery and requirements gathering.
- Provide solutions and implement them in collaboration with client business groups and internal teams.
- Analyze data to identify gaps and find solutions for projects of different sizes.
- Facilitate the creation of new reports via the database and application in collaboration with business and technical teams.
- Perform application maintenance and support, including upgrades and testing.
- Provide training and create training documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information technology, or related areas.
- 15+ years of industrial experience, with at least 5 years in Production Accounting Systems implementation and support.
- Experience in the Production Accounting Domain of the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in SQL Database.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
