About the position

The Production and Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and overseeing production needs within the Broadcast & Production industry. This position requires a proactive individual who can coordinate on-site and remote productions, manage talent and resources, and ensure high levels of client service. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, developing budgets and proposals, and facilitating the hiring of crew and equipment for various projects. The ideal candidate will be well-connected, organized, and passionate about connecting talent with opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with corporate brands and creative agency clients.
  • Facilitate client discovery meetings to develop budgets, proposals, and scopes of production work.
  • Coordinate remote and onsite productions, producing smaller scale projects as needed.
  • Schedule and hire crew, manage location requirements, and facilitate payments.
  • Ensure all talent agreements and required documentation are complete for accurate payments.
  • Deliver accurate contracts, budgets, quotes, agreements, and booking confirmations.
  • Maintain awareness of global and regional impacts to talent populations.
  • Act as an ambassador to the freelance community, matching talent with gigs.
  • Organize special projects and participate in business development meetings.
  • Assist Producers with sourcing and vetting talent and preparing documents for client review.
  • Grow a pool of new talent across EMEA, APAC & NAM Markets.
  • Interface with Production teams, Accounting, Human Resources & Recruiting.
  • Recruit and interview new applicants and freelance resources for the talent database.
  • Provide the highest level of client service possible.

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a sense of urgency for time-sensitive projects.
  • Immediate responsiveness to client requests and ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Experience negotiating production project costs.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Passion for business development and networking.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of creative, technical, and production roles.
  • Ability to mediate and resolve challenging production situations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Worksuite and familiarity with social media platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using ATS or CRM systems.
  • Human Resources, payroll, staffing, or crewing experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce platform.
  • A good understanding of AV, Production & Post Production technologies.
