About the position

The Production and Materials Manager is a new role at UEC Signal Technologies, responsible for overseeing the accuracy of materials management within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system and ensuring the physical movement of electronic components from inventory to work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments, including engineering and project management, to ensure smooth operations and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Working with the company's Microsoft Dynamics ERP database to ensure accuracy in material BOM entering, parts and subassembly creation.
• Total responsibility for working with management to ensure accuracy of company inventory.
• Moving electronic material between raw inventory, WIP, and finished goods to ensure accurate reflection in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Leading inventory counts at least twice a year.
• Communicating with corporate accounting staff regarding the location and status of materials associated with manufacturing jobs.
• Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure successful job transitions from sales to final goods ready for shipment.
• Proactively notifying senior management of any supply chain issues with required materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics in an electronics manufacturing company.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Technical skills in basic Microsoft Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluent in both verbal and written English; bilingual in Spanish desirable.
• Knowledge of math through and including Algebra.
• Desirable knowledge of accounting principles as it relates to materials/inventory.
