About the position

Mousetrappe is seeking a Production Artist with Animation Background Layout and Paint experience to create a variety of illustrated elements for animated sequences. This role requires a candidate who can work in different styles and aesthetics, producing work that ranges from highly rendered CG Animation to a more illustrative painterly finish. The Production Artist will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and is expected to be organized, clean, and capable of troubleshooting minor technical issues due to the limited technical support available.

Responsibilities

• Illustrate elements from scratch based on reference material.
• Create a range of styles and aesthetics for animated sequences.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to build an arsenal of elements for animation.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Photoshop is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in illustration, design, and digital asset creation is preferred.
• Broad experience with a variety of illustration styles and techniques is necessary.
