Production Assembler

About the position

The Production Assembler role at Specialty Building Products involves assembling semi-custom single door units using kitted frame parts and prepped doors. This full-time position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule and requires the use of various tools and equipment to ensure accurate assembly and preparation of materials.

Responsibilities

• Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors to assemble semi-custom single door units.
• Operating several different saws to cut material.
• Preparing material for assembly using exact measurements.
• Reading work orders to assure accuracy of assembly.

Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun, and other electric tools when necessary.
• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead, or co-worker.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
