About the position
The Production Assembly Worker at Aerotek is responsible for assembling and inspecting parts to meet production schedules while ensuring quality standards are maintained. This role involves using basic tools, performing minor equipment maintenance, and collaborating with team members to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities
- Use basic tools for assembly tasks
- Utilize inspection equipment and gauges to inspect parts
- Produce quality parts to satisfy production schedules
- Perform minor equipment maintenance as required
- Secure a qualified First Piece Inspection after setup
- Report parts production and separate scrap parts by shift
- Report downtime in shift reports
- Work cooperatively to achieve production schedules
Requirements
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previously held machine operator position
