Production/Assembly Worker

About the position

The Production/Assembly Worker at Barrette Outdoor Living is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of fence parts, working closely with team members to ensure quality and efficiency in the production process. This role involves following safety regulations, using hand tools and automated machinery, and preparing products for shipment. Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area and equipment, following prescribed safety regulations.
• Prepare imports for production consumption by unwrapping materials.
• Follow directions from prints or operating procedures to assemble parts using hand tools or automated machinery.
• Monitor product for quality defects during the assembly process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills are required.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with air powered tools and hand tools.
• Ability to lead by example and work respectfully with a team.
