About the position

The Production Assistant Manager at MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe) is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of assembly lines. This role involves planning and managing both short and long-term production objectives, ensuring high-quality output while maximizing production efficiency. The position requires collaboration with various departments to resolve issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the productive and safe operation of assembly lines.
• Plan and manage short and long-term objectives for assembly production.
• Provide capacity and labor planning for production.
• Support issue resolution through root cause analysis and implement permanent countermeasures.
• Utilize problem-solving tools to achieve rapid improvement with sustainable results.
• Assist process engineering with part processing and troubleshooting to reduce scrap, cycle time, and downtime.
• Ensure adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation, and reporting.
• Manage daily operations through KPI tracking and problem-solving to achieve targets.
• Support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Coach and mentor supervisors on standard work and continuous improvement practices.
• Monitor and manage production costs through budgeting and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a related area, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing.
