About the position

The Production Assistant Manager at Vuteq is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production team members in the automotive manufacturing sector. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure quality production results and adherence to safety regulations. The position involves analyzing production reports, managing schedules, and collaborating with engineering and quality control teams to optimize production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members including production areas and related duties.
• Interpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations.
• Analyze monthly production reports and implement countermeasures to correct inefficiencies.
• Review and prepare production schedules and estimate team member hour requirements for job assignments.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Consult with engineering personnel regarding modifications of machines and equipment to improve production and quality.
• Coordinate production activities with maintenance and quality control to optimize production and resource utilization.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer support.
• Establish goals and targets to exceed company objectives.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Strong team player with supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; AutoCAD skills preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental ISO14001 preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience (3 - 5 years) preferred.
