About the position
The Production Associate position is an entry-level role within the manufacturing area, primarily responsible for performing weigh-up or packaging duties. The role focuses on ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Obtain the correct documentation for the batch and ensure the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
- Set up and start weigh-up or packaging machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any issues, problems, or concerns in a timely manner.
- Safely and neatly process, batch off, screen, cut up, package, and/or skid material to correct size/container according to customer specifications.
- Accurately supply/support Production Operators with appropriate materials/functions to efficiently keep all equipment operational.
- Perform all required machine cleaning.
- Complete and maintain required paperwork and/or documents.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.
Requirements

- Fork Lift Operators License
