About the position
The Production Associate role at J&B Group involves processing and packing meat products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This full-time position is part of the 2nd shift, providing opportunities for associates to earn competitive wages and benefits while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and pack meat products to order
- Assemble boxes and palletize orders
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure quality and safety
- Comply and follow company food safety and workplace safety policies
- Clean and maintain work area throughout shift
- Develop knowledge of production and production area
- Assist in other areas of production as needed/requested
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (minus breaks/rest periods)
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety policies
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with meat processing
