About the position

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. This role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, involving repetitive tasks and heavy lifting. Successful candidates will perform various workstation operations and support window operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• Support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure and inspect for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
