Production Associate I - 12HR Days

About the position

The Production Associate I role at Kraft Heinz involves working in a manufacturing environment to ensure product quality and safety standards are met. The position requires teamwork and participation in various tasks, including operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and performing sanitation duties. Associates will be responsible for quality checks, data recording, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards by checking seals, code dates, labels, packaging, weights, odor, color, and temperature of products.
• Properly insert components in cartons and record data accurately.
• Ensure proper supplies are used on the production line.
• Stack products at the end of the line and perform tasks requiring constant reaching, bending, and twisting.
• Operate packing or filling equipment and perform recordkeeping as required.
• Maintain housekeeping and Kraft quality standards in the work area, including general cleaning duties.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform sanitation and maintenance tasks as needed, including checking products and filling out quality documentation.
• Participate in Safety and Productivity Improvement Teams and perform other duties as directed by Line Leader and Shift Leader.
• Maintain equipment using the KHMS system and perform minor maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Basic math, reading, and communication skills are required.
• Ability to acquire a Fork Truck License is necessary.
• Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching tasks.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and grip objects, and climb stairs.
