Production Associate I

About the position

Dal-Tile is seeking a Production Associate I to join their team in Fayette, AL. This role involves ensuring quality control of ceramic tile production through various tasks such as inspecting, buffing, and counting tiles. The position requires attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tile for cracks and variations of thickness in Tunnel Manufacturing Operation.
• Buff burs off tile.
• Place tile on trays and count units of tile.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain quality checks as specified.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
