About the position
The Racker Team Member at Anomatic is responsible for affixing small aluminum parts onto anodizing racks and performing basic visual inspections to ensure quality specifications are met. This role is essential in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Affix small aluminum parts onto titanium metal anodizing racks.
- Perform basic visual inspections of parts to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Identify part imperfections according to quality specifications.
- Differentiate between different sizes, shapes, and styles of parts.
- Fulfill the requirements of each position on the racking line including lead racker, buffer-racker, wheel, and autoload racking positions during the shift.
- Build boxes for finished goods as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
- Ability to use both hands to pick up and manipulate small parts simultaneously.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Can successfully work in a team environment.
- Willing to take direction from others.
