About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-oriented individuals to join their team as Production Associates in a climate-controlled facility in McDonough, GA. This role involves operating equipment, monitoring production processes, and performing maintenance tasks to meet production goals. The position offers a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and requires working rotating 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment
• Completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
