About the position

The Production Associate at SHAWNEE Technologies is responsible for various functions related to particle manufacturing, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). This entry-level position involves hands-on work with chemical processes and equipment, contributing to the production and quality assurance of manufactured particles.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions related to particle manufacturing, including work order kit review during and post production.
• Handle chemical reactions and manage the handling of chemicals safely.
• Conduct diafiltration, decanting, centrifuging, reslurry/sonication processes.
• Engage in sonicating, sieving, and blending of materials.
• Label and package finished products appropriately.
• Prepare samples for quality analysis.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools.
• Familiarity with GMP and GDP practices.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Entry-level experience in a similar role is preferred.
