About the position
Prometheus Materials delivers sustainable building materials that accelerate the world's transition to a carbon-negative future. Inspired by nature, the company has developed a process that combines naturally-occurring microalgae with sunlight, water, and ambient CO2 to rapidly create a bio-cement. When mixed with aggregate, this bio-cement forms a bio-concrete building material that offers the construction industry a strong, zero-carbon alternative to carbon-intensive concrete products.
Responsibilities
- Daily production duties of in-house manufacturing
- Work with the production manager and other associates to meet production needs and schedules
- Care and maintenance of the production equipment and facility
- Report to the Production Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager
Requirements
- Proficient with powered manufacturing equipment and material handling systems
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Follow safety-related guidelines and instructions
- Ability to operate Windows based PC and Microsoft applications
- Must have reliable transportation
Nice-to-haves
- Concrete and or masonry construction experience
- Warehouse organization/management experience
- Experience with bulk bagging of dried materials
