About the position

The Production Associate role involves performing a variety of entry-level and semi-skilled winding and repair operations in a manufacturing environment. The position requires reading and interpreting technical documents, operating equipment, and maintaining production and quality standards. The associate will work with hand and power tools, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the workspace while also being responsible for training other employees as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Blueprints, OTIS, and SMI.
• Identify components required for operation.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to set up and operate equipment.
• Make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
• Maintain production and quality standards and identify equipment and product malfunctions.
• Set up and operate equipment at required tolerances.
• Operate a variety of powered equipment safely at standard production rates.
• Inspect work and recognize conformance to quality and engineering specifications.
• Report issues and non-conformances to Department Lead or Supervisor.
• Use a computer to access required online information.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including training of other employees.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software.
