About the position
The Production Associate role at JMC Wood Manufacturing involves setting up and adjusting tables to produce finished laminated and fabricated panels. This position requires a dependable and skilled team player who can meet fast-paced productivity goals while adhering to health and safety standards. The job is full-time, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust tables to produce finished panels.
- Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
- Determine when adjustments are needed and make necessary adjustments (air pressure, temperature, timing, etc.).
- Read and follow job traveler sheets that include part numbers, PO numbers, quantities, vinyl colors, and other specific production directions.
- Fill out a daily production sheet accurately.
- Follow health and safety rules to reduce the risk of workplace injury.
- Complete all delegated work.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret production directions.
