About the position

United Gear & Assembly, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to support our Production Scheduler and Purchasing Specialist in their daily activities. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, which are vital to our reputation as a premier manufacturer and supplier of precision gears, shafts, and related assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering daily labor and scrap data into our ERP system, coordinating daily material deliveries from the warehouse, and working closely with purchasing and scheduling teams to manage outsourcing activities effectively. Additionally, the role involves producing purchase orders for direct materials, outsourcing, and capital equipment, as well as generating and releasing shop schedules based on the information provided by the Production Scheduler.
