About the position

The Production Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process in a full-service logoed apparel and promotional products company. This role involves managing customer interactions, product research, embellishment processes, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing, embroidery, and promotional products, with a focus on sales and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the office and oversee production from start to finish.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.
  • Research and suggest appropriate promotional products.
  • Oversee the embellishment process and ensure quality delivery.
  • Provide customer service and in-house sales support.
  • Assist with graphics art and product ordering.
  • Stage jobs and manage production schedules.
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement special projects to grow the business.

Requirements

  • Experience in the screen printing, embroidery, or promotional products industry.
  • Strong people skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
  • Proficient in computer skills and problem analysis.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Personal character, ethics, reliability, and professionalism are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in promotional products (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in screen printing (1 year preferred).
  • Willingness to relocate to Lemay, MO before starting work.
