About the position

The Production Control Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within the logistics department. This position is responsible for ensuring that production and shipping schedules are met while maintaining factory orders and addressing any potential shortages. The specialist utilizes their knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering to proactively alert relevant authorities about potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
• Maintain and update factory orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with production needs.
• Assist in identifying possible and actual shortages of materials and initiate corrective actions to address these deficiencies.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering departments to communicate potential problems and recommend appropriate remedial actions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Production Control.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lb. hardware.
• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in SAP ERP System.
• Experience in GOLD Gov't Tracking System.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
