About the position
The Production Controller 2 role is focused on managing the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within production departments to ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential shortages and production issues, leveraging knowledge from various departments such as production, procurement, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
- Maintain factory orders and update them as necessary.
- Assist in determining possible and actual shortages and initiate corrective actions.
- Alert appropriate authorities regarding potential problems and recommend remedial actions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Production Control.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lb. hardware.
- Must be a US Citizen due to government regulations.
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in SAP ERP System.
- Experience in GOLD Gov't Tracking System.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
