About the position
The Production Controller is responsible for managing the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments to ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules. This role involves maintaining factory orders, updating records, and addressing potential shortages by coordinating with relevant departments.
Responsibilities
- Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
- Maintain and update factory orders.
- Assist in identifying possible and actual shortages and initiate corrective actions.
- Use knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering to alert authorities about potential problems and recommend remedial actions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Production Control.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lb. hardware.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in SAP ERP System.
- Experience in GOLD Gov't Tracking System.
