About the position

The Production Craftsman is responsible for the preparation and assembly of exterior entry doors and entrance door systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires physical strength to lift heavy materials and proficiency in using various hand and power tools. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining positive relations within the organization and achieving production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lift 50-pound doors repetitively during shifts.
• Use a tape measure accurately for measurements.
• Assemble portions of metal and fiberglass doors using hand and power tools.
• Manufacture, assemble, and construct various components of entrance door systems.
• Monitor production goals and anticipate potential problems affecting quality control.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality expectations.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, home remodels, or DIY projects.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (50 pounds).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including table saws, miter saws, shapers, routers, and pneumatic tools.
• Strong communication skills to maintain positive relations within the organization.
• Problem-solving skills to address production challenges.
