About the position

We are looking to add a production entry clerk to our corporate administrative team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive benefits program and opportunities for advancement. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately type information into our database from paper documents provided by the production team. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, a fast typist, and possess a keen eye for detail. The production entry team plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of tasks, which is essential for the smooth operation of our business. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and Microsoft Office is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Type in data directly from paper documents provided from the production team to our ERP computer system
• Maintain spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Sort and organize paperwork to ensure none is lost

Requirements

• Proficient typing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
