About the position
Our client is seeking a talented and self-driven Production Designer to join the team. As a Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the development and execution of world-class experiences and communications across all media platforms. This position requires exceptional design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life with pixel-perfect precision. You will collaborate closely with design leads, creative teams, and marketing partners to create smart and visually stunning designs for both internal and external projects. Your work will involve maintaining design consistency throughout every stage of implementation and overseeing project transitions from creative concepts to mechanical production. You will ensure excellence and consistency in every project, transforming creative concepts into stunning realities for various initiatives such as Today at Apple events, internal communications materials, and learning resources.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with design leads, creative teams, and marketing partners to create smart and visually stunning designs for both internal and external projects.
- Maintain design consistency throughout every stage of implementation.
- Oversee project transitions from creative concepts to mechanical production.
- Ensure excellence and consistency in every project.
- Transform creative concepts into stunning realities for various initiatives such as Today at Apple events, internal communications materials, learning resources etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of production design experience in an agency or in-house corporate graphic design environment
- In-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative process
- Excellent design and production skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Expertise in mechanical production using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Highly proficient in photo retouching tools such as Sketch and Bridge
- Experience implementing creative design direction across various mediums
- Versatility working off sketches, rough digital layouts, and verbal communication
- Discerning when work may be 'off track' and knowing when to seek advice from senior creative staff
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects under minimal supervision
- Highly adept at collaborating with diverse teams including creative, project management, events, photography, editing, and content
- Strong written and oral communication skills
