About the position

As a Production Designer at Snap Inc., you will play a crucial role in building the Snapchat brand by creating high-quality marketing materials for various audiences. You will collaborate with a diverse team of creatives to deliver innovative design solutions that celebrate the company's products and features. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for design, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse mix of creatives and producers to craft best-in-class marketing work across various verticals and markets.
  • Adapt and expand upon key art from project kick-off to mechanical delivery in close collaboration with the creative team.
  • Implement and maintain the file structure system, asset library, and review process.
  • Deliver pixel-perfect specifications under tight deadlines and pivot between platforms with ease.
  • Serve as a role model to fellow designers and help develop the talent of junior designers.
  • Foster and grow the team's creative culture.
  • Communicate with producers, design leads, and other team members to support a range of design requests including layout, photo retouching, UI design builds, and asset management.
  • Partner with other production designers to manage time and resources effectively for diverse deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working in production/studio design.
  • Hands-on creative with demonstrable experience as a production designer (in-house, freelance, or agency).
  • Highly proficient in InDesign, Figma, Keynote, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Triple Triangle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a Google Suite lead project environment.
  • Knowledge of After Effects, C4D, and Frame.io is a plus.
  • Experience creating brand identities and style guides is a huge plus.
