About the position

LA Managed Services is seeking a Framework Designer for a 12-month contract role embedded with a major client. This position is part of the Content Design team, which is responsible for creating and building content experiences for global media products. The Frameworks Designer will focus on developing designer-friendly documentation and guidelines for design standards, collaborating closely with creative leads, UI/UX teams, and engineering to enhance the design process.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation of common design components for the Content team.
• Create design templates based on UI design specs and engineering implementation.
• Develop design guidelines that may include static and motion diagrams, animations, and explanatory videos.
• Present completed guidelines in training sessions.
• Document design standards for TV and other Apple services.
• Create sample artwork using Photoshop, Sketch, and After Effects.
• Design presentation templates in Keynote and other apps.
• Communicate design requirements with technical and engineering teams.
• Create instructional videos and maintain a library of documentation.
• Design onboarding materials for vendors and external partners.
• Design internal communication emails regarding documentation updates.
• Participate in discussions to improve studio documentation standards.
• Provide end-user support to the Content team.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating design work.
• 5+ years of experience in production design and graphic design.
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premier, Sketch, and Keynote.
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
