About the position
Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Production Engineer Intern who will apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios by tracking data, analyzing processes, and recommending improvements based on data gathered from manufacturing facilities. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on process optimization and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing process issues and collect relevant data.
- Analyze facts and implement solutions to improve processes.
- Document new processes and changes made.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Technology to address process-related activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to write reports and analyze raw data.
