Responsibilities
- Review production data from the previous 24 hours and address urgent business needs promptly.
- Track line efficiency using Pareto charts and data tracking software.
- Coordinate and lead continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on packaging equipment and technology, providing training to operations and support groups.
- Support operations to comply with applicable laws and quality requirements.
- Organize and generate data for project scopes, cost estimates, and capital appropriation requests.
- Provide engineering support for equipment installations and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Engineering Management preferred).
- Established understanding of engineering fundamentals and equipment operation principles.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, flowcharts, and schematics related to system design documentation.
- Demonstrated understanding of lean principles and six sigma processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as OSHA and cGMP.
