About the position
The Production Engineer will serve as a technical resource for a modern chemical production facility, focusing on optimizing plant performance and ensuring the production of safe, high-quality products. This role involves troubleshooting production issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Optimize daily production to achieve business goals
- Support the company's continuous improvement objectives and operational excellence strategy
- Write and review unit operations manuals and standard operating procedures
- Initiate Management of Change for process design and implementation of plant system changes
- Interface with vendors and contractors as the process owner
- Commissioning of new process equipment installations
- Conduct internal training sessions
- Provide operational and technical project coordinators
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- 3-10 Years of Production/Operations Experience
- Familiar with a PSM/OSHA Regulated Work Environment
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills
