About the position

As a Production Engineer III on the Spectrum TV - Roku team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Spectrum TV app on the Roku platform. This position directly impacts the quality of experience delivered to customers, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the application. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage application releases, configurations, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Application release efforts for Spectrum TV, SpectrumU, and Spectrum Enterprise apps on Roku
  • Ownership and management of project Git repository and CI/CD practices
  • Developing internal tools to improve team operational efficiency
  • Management of hosted application configurations
  • Management of A/B experimentation on the platform
  • Management of in-app promotions within Spectrum TV app on Roku
  • Application monitoring via multiple analytics services
  • Outage triaging and facilitating ad-hoc customer quality investigations

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience with Database Management Systems
  • 1-3+ years of experience in coding, testing, and designing software
  • 1-3+ years of experience with Software Development Methodologies
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one major programming language/tool
  • Demonstrated knowledge of coding language and syntax, usage of functions and object-oriented patterns
  • Knowledge of environments, docker images, container runtimes, and cloud-native app development
  • Knowledge of dependent systems, e.g., up/downstream APIs, clients, data stores, CI/CD Pipelines
  • Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks
