About the position

The Production Engineering Manager at Sky Jet Services is responsible for leading a team of manufacturing engineers to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft components and assemblies. This role is crucial in ensuring that production activities meet quality standards, cost efficiency, and timeline goals while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards. The manager will also be part of the executive leadership team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, develop, and lead a team of manufacturing engineers to align with project objectives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure product manufacturability.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet industry regulations and customer requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to resolve manufacturing issues and uphold product quality.
• Lead manufacturing engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 7-10 years in manufacturing engineering, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing simulation tools, and ERP systems.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
