About the position

At Richelieu Foods, our mission is simple, Great Food from Great People! The position involves various essential functions including assembly, placing and packing of products, inspecting and communicating code dates to the Operations team, handling and logging routine checks of machine and product, and maintaining the highest level of plant and production floor cleanliness. The role requires effective continuous operation of the pizza production line, inspecting and dumping all waste trays throughout the shift, and preparing and securing all ingredients, equipment, and tools during changeovers. Compliance with food safety, sanitation procedures, and safety work practices is mandatory. The employee must communicate any issues to the Supervisor or Lead and be able to rotate to various jobs on the production line. Other duties may be assigned as directed by the Supervisor or Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly, placing and packing of products.
  • Inspect and communicate code dates to the Operations team.
  • Handles and logs routine checks of machine and product.
  • Follows and complies with all food safety, sanitation procedures, and safety work practices.
  • Maintain and responsible for the highest level of plant and production floor cleanliness.
  • Responsible for effective continuous operation of the pizza production line.
  • Inspect and dump all waste trays throughout the shift.
  • Empty, prepare, remove and secure all ingredients, equipment and tools required during changeovers.
  • Follows all Personal Preventive Equipment and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
  • Communicate any issues or problems to Supervisor or Lead verbally.
  • Rotate to various jobs on production line.
  • Conduct line tear down tasks as directed by Supervisor or Lead.
  • Be aware of existing work and environmental hazards and report all unsafe acts or conditions observed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing environment is a plus.
