About the position

The Production Graphic Designer & Internal Communications role at Hancock Regional Hospital involves the creative development and production of marketing and communications materials. This position supports the entire Hancock Health enterprise and reports to the Director of Marketing & Brand. The designer will collaborate with various teams to ensure effective communication and branding across multiple platforms, while managing projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Determine visual application of the brand to various programs and initiatives.
  • Design digital and print materials including advertisements, newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
  • Generate content to inform associates about organizational objectives and policies.
  • Partner with colleagues in Marketing and other business areas to address customer needs.
  • Follow brand creative criteria and develop innovative ideas that align with strategy.
  • Ensure timely printing of in-house marketing materials and establish a routine print day.
  • Develop content (copy and art) with the Marketing team to meet creative standards.
  • Liaise with external agencies to maintain a consistent creative platform.
  • Manage internal and external workflow for timely execution of services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for project quotes and delivery.
  • Manage supplies for daily production within budget constraints.
  • Maintain an organized design project schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Support media strategy and placement activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and project management software.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent grammar and proofreading abilities.
  • Experience in graphic design and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and tech-savviness regarding design tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Familiarity with printing processes and supplier coordination.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and marketing tools.
