Our company values include quality, loyalty to the team and our customers, and a creative spirit. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated graphic designer to join our team. The candidate will join our Marketing & Design department to create package design for a variety of clients. They will manage and execute most of our post purchase order tasks including proofing orders, printing labels and assembling for our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity, organization and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from receipt to production (proof all orders, print labels and packaging, cut labels and packaging, manage organization of orders prior to production)
• Manage printer, paper and supplies for department
• Design and create virtual mock-ups for potential projects
• Assist Marketing & Design department with yearly marketing tasks (biannual catalogs, email marketing, photography, social media, etc.)
• Assist Marketing & Design department with creating new and unique packaging designs

Requirements

• Previous graphic art experience (1+ year of professional work preferred) with proven capability in related software applications (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.)
• Good conceptual design, layout and production skills
• Sophisticated creative vision with attention to detail
• Positive, upbeat communication and interpersonal attitude
• Self-starter, work with quick time constraints and stay organized
• Previous work with packaging and a fresh portfolio a bonus
• Graphic art degree preferred
