About the position

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from sourcing materials to final delivery, ensuring that products meet high standards of quality and are delivered on time and within budget. This hybrid role requires a strategic and hands-on approach, ideal for someone with extensive experience in fashion production who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met across all stages—from sample development to bulk production.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Oversee production budgets, analyze costs, and find solutions to meet targets without compromising quality.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes, conducting inspections and ensuring all products meet our brand's high standards before they reach customers.
• Work closely with the logistics team to manage inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure timely deliveries to our distribution centers.
• Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with design, merchandising, and technical teams to ensure seamless transitions from concept to finished product.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field
• Multi-year experience in fashion production management, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing production timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to problem-solve under pressure
• Advanced Excel skills
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for quality and detail
