About the position

The Production Lead plays a crucial role in assisting the supervisor and management with daily operations on the production floor. This position involves supporting other operators, conducting monthly inventory counts, and addressing quality and production-related inquiries. The Production Lead ensures that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor and management in daily operations on the production floor.
• Operate most production equipment as needed.
• Explain job specifications and terms to other operators.
• Monitor and assist general machine operators and quality control operators to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Complete monthly inventory counts for production materials.
• Review time entry sheets to ensure accurate logging of worked hours and jobs.
• Complete material transactions in the ERP system at the end of each shift.
• Safely perform physical demands associated with the role.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
