About the position

The Production Lead at Kaas Tailored is responsible for overseeing the flow and quality of products within the department while mentoring and developing team members through hands-on learning. This role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving to meet customer needs and internal deadlines. Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective feedback to team members and be open to receiving feedback.
• Serve as a trainer/mentor to employees in the department.
• Act as a creative problem-solver who values making small improvements.
• Follow standard work procedures and understand their purpose.
• Lead by example with a high degree of integrity.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse team, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager and other team leads to meet internal due dates.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner according to the escalation standard.
• Confidently use technology, including iOS devices and various software programs (Outlook, Excel, Syspro).
• Understand the tools used in product construction.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of successful experience leading a diverse team.
• Desire to serve others and lead with humility.
• Ability to give and receive feedback effectively.
• Desire to grow and take on more responsibility.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
• Valuing people for who they are and coaching them to grow towards their giftings.
• Ability to complete training for QA Stamp for final department inspection within 12 weeks of start.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and iOS devices.
• Training and development experience.
