About the position

The Production Leader at Schaeffler Group is responsible for overseeing and managing all production operations within a specific sub-segment or product line. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to production standards and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). The position requires a strong background in production engineering or supply chain management, along with leadership skills to drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to defined production standards, methods, and guidelines.
• Oversees and manages all production operations to achieve agreed KPIs for a single sub-segment/product assigned.
• Ensures proper application of methods, guidelines, and procedures to achieve agreed KPIs.
• Contributes to or ensures fine-scheduling and sequencing of production orders.
• Confirms or approves production orders and allocates operations resources accordingly.
• Ensures availability of production infrastructure, including tools and maintenance services.
• Proposes procedural or organizational changes to improve QCD.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
• Must meet Export Control compliance requirements as a 'US Person'.
