Production Line Leader

About the position

The Production Line Leader at Element TV Company is an entry-level leadership role responsible for managing a team of production associates on the manufacturing floor. This position focuses on enforcing company policies, ensuring production efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment. The leader will oversee daily operations, support team members, and contribute to achieving production goals while upholding the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum of 21 team associates on the production floor.
• Enforce Element policies and procedures to maintain a positive plant culture.
• Ensure timely line startup and check for product accuracy and availability.
• Meet production KPIs through effective team management.
• Add value to the manufacturing organization by contributing to safety, quality, and production goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and equipment usage.
• Identify needed repairs or improvements to manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Cover for production team associates during absences and vacations.
• Train and follow up with operators to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform basic care duties such as minor repairs and line housekeeping.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or some college education preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team of at least 15-21 hourly employees.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to conduct courageous conversations and initial corrective action investigations.
• Ability to teach and train hourly employees effectively.
• Good interpersonal skills.
