About the position

The Production Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a multi-head embroidery machine and heat press in a production department. This full-time position requires adherence to safety procedures and ensuring that all products meet company standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager in all areas of the production department.
• Operate and maintain a multi-head embroidery machine and heat press.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary and adhere to strict safety procedures.
• Report any injuries or unsafe situations immediately.
• Maintain equipment and report concerns or malfunctions.
• Ensure all products meet company standards and specifications by accurately reading, comprehending, and completing orders.
• Hoop textiles, load machines, and perform data entry and interpretation related to embroidery.
• Manage color inputs and thread changes, machine threading, bobbin and needle replacements, and tension adjustments.
• Clean and lubricate the machine as required.
• Properly place decorations using the heat press, adhering to guidelines for press length and pressure.
• Tolerate repetitive motions and long periods of standing or sitting.

Requirements

• Experience operating embroidery machines and heat presses.
• Ability to read and comprehend production orders and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality.
• Basic data entry skills.
