We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Wilson, NC, where we are committed to saving lives through the design and manufacturing of fire protection systems for commercial and military aircraft and ground vehicles. In this role, you will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures, ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems on various equipment, requiring a basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and plumbing. Your responsibilities will include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility mechanical components and electrical systems, as well as performing machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with our preventative maintenance programs. You will also provide support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades, ensuring that all paperwork is maintained to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed. Compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies is essential. This position may also involve other duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
