About the position

As a Production Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, you will lead and manage the manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and meet customer demand. This role involves overseeing a team of frontline associates, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to safety and food safety standards. You will be responsible for achieving production goals while fostering a culture of engagement and development among your team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the manufacturing of products to meet quality standards and customer demand.
  • Oversee the work efforts of frontline associates to manufacture products efficiently and safely.
  • Manage area-specific production processes and improvement activities, including identifying opportunity areas and executing planned improvements.
  • Understand schedules, products, materials, and quality requirements to manage line performance and KPIs within budget.
  • Develop and coach team members to solve operational issues and motivate them to achieve performance goals.
  • Participate in production and people scheduling processes, making adjustments as needed.
  • Administer company policies and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, including safety and food safety policies.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings to promote continuous improvement and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to improve equipment reliability and manage resources effectively.
  • Document safety incidents and investigate to reduce safety risks in the area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in operations, engineering, business, management, or related area preferred.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a production environment, including hiring, employee development, and performance coaching.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement training preferred.
  • Knowledge of food packaging principles, food industry quality, and food safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership abilities in motivating a diverse manufacturing team.
  • Project management skills and experience in influencing and leading change management.
  • Strong computer skills, preferably in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate & Power Apps preferred.
