About the position

The Production Manager at GCN Supply LLC is responsible for overseeing all production activities within the company, which specializes in converting adhesives for various industries including medical, aerospace, military defense, automotive, and transportation. This role emphasizes leadership, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, ensuring that production processes align with company values and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead all production activities including managing a team
• Conduct preventative maintenance of all operational machinery
• Operate machinery and stand for long periods of time
• Train all warehouse employees on machine processes
• Create 3D drawings using AutoCAD
• Reverse engineer parts to create a drawing if it is not available
• Support the development of the production schedule
• Establish work procedures and prepare work schedules
• Cut costs and assure conformance to policies and procedures
• Create studies of employee efficiency and conduct meetings
• Communicate with customers regarding orders and/or machinery
• Work jointly with logistics and purchasing
• Define and measure Key Performance Indicators
• Responsible for New Production Introduction (NPI)
• Change seals, bearings, gears, bands, machine sensors, etc.
• Use measuring equipment to analyze data and create reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Familiarity with rotary die cutting and converting
• Mid-level experience in production management

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the medical, aerospace, or automotive industries
