About the position

The Production Manager at World Wide Technology is responsible for overseeing production operations, managing a team, and ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of production methodologies, particularly LEAN principles, and involves direct management of personnel to meet production goals while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Assign work for specific WWT customers, ensuring compliance with onboarding requirements.
• Continuously seek improvements in production processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure quality and functional standards are met according to technical documentation.
• Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
• Control and structure the use of time to accomplish work and project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
• 3+ years' experience in leading a team, including leading leaders and/or supervisors.
• Basic understanding of LEAN methodology and concepts is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates a concern for accuracy and thoroughness in logging information.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of processes for ordering, shipping, and warehousing materials.
• Ability to listen and confirm understanding of content and non-verbal cues.
