About the position

At BrightView, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining the best teams in the industry. We are currently seeking a Production Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction through the delivery of quality, cost-effective services. In this position, you will be responsible for scheduling and directing personnel and resources efficiently, while also supporting the Account Manager in estimating and budgeting to ensure profitability and exceptional outcomes for every account. As a Production Manager, you will coordinate materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure that job site quality meets BrightView standards. This includes inspecting properties prior to scheduled service to develop appropriate action plans and performing hands-on work as needed. You will proactively monitor irrigation systems and areas with potential disease or insect problems to address issues before they arise, ensuring the highest level of service for our clients. In terms of operations, you will ensure the proper maintenance, storage, and use of branch equipment, while coordinating with the Branch Administrator to keep branch databases updated with current client information. You will also be responsible for ordering materials as needed and monitoring costs and deliveries to maintain budgetary compliance. On the personnel side, you will work closely with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, perform hiring duties, and prepare daily crew schedules. You will develop and review growth plans for employees, providing counsel and discipline as necessary. Training crew members on proper equipment operation, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards will also be a key part of your role. Safety is paramount at BrightView, and you will implement safety best practices while monitoring the branch's safety record to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the landscaping industry or local marketplace
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a supervisory role
  • A 2 year degree or more in a landscape-related field or certification by a landscape association
